Terms of Service + Travel eSIM Usage Agreement
Binding terms governing prepaid 5G/4G LTE travel eSIM provisioning, device compatibility, activation validity, and fair network usage across 234+ destinations.
1. Acceptance of Terms + Scope of Service
By accessing soloesim.com or purchasing a prepaid travel eSIM profile from SoloEsim ("SoloEsim", "we", "our", or "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. SoloEsim provides digital GSMA-compliant eSIM data profiles (RSP SGP.22 v2.2.2) that connect compatible smartphones, tablets, and laptops to Tier-1 local cellular operators across 234+ destinations.
2. Device Compatibility + Carrier Unlock Requirement
To install and activate a SoloEsim digital profile, your device must be carrier-unlocked and support eSIM hardware (including Apple iPhone XS/XR or newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 or newer, Google Pixel 4 or newer, and cellular iPad models). Customers can verify compatibility prior to purchase by dialing *#06# on their keypad to confirm a valid 32-digit EID (Embedded Identity Document) code.
3. Prepaid Pricing, Validity + Activation Rules
All SoloEsim data packages are one-time prepaid purchases quoted in USD (or your selected display currency). There are zero recurring subscriptions, zero auto-renewals, and zero hidden roaming surcharges. Plan validity starts when the eSIM first attaches to a supported destination network (or upon QR installation for designated global plans) and expires when the purchased gigabyte allowance or day duration is reached.
4. Fair Usage Policy, Hotspot Tethering + Network Conduct
Personal Wi-Fi hotspot and device tethering are included at full 5G/4G LTE speed across SoloEsim plans. Customers agree not to use SoloEsim connectivity for unlawful network probing, automated spam transmission, fraudulent VoIP routing, or activities prohibited by the telecommunications laws of the visited jurisdiction.
5. Service Availability, Tier-1 Peering + Liability Limits
SoloEsim interconnects directly with Tier-1 regional operators (such as Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile, SoftBank, KDDI, Turkcell, e&, and STC). While we target 99.95% SM-DP+ provisioning uptime, wireless speeds and coverage depend on local cell tower proximity, topography, and spectrum load. Scheduled gateway maintenance windows (such as 48-hour node upgrades) are announced directly on the platform.
6. Governing Law, GDPR Standards + Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by international electronic commerce standards, EU consumer protection regulations, and applicable telecommunications directives. Any billing or technical dispute should first be submitted to support@soloesim.com, where our resolution team responds within 24 hours.
