1. Data Minimization + Information We Collect
SoloEsim operates on a strict privacy-by-design and data minimization architecture. When you reserve a promo code or purchase a travel eSIM, we collect only: (a) your delivery email address, (b) the selected destination package and price, and (c) essential payment verification metadata. We never store raw credit card numbers or CVV codes on our servers.
2. Zero Passport eKYC for Standard Tourist Data eSIMs
Unlike airport physical SIM kiosks that scan and retain copies of your passport, SoloEsim does not collect biometric data, national ID cards, or passport scans for standard international data-only eSIM packages. Your identity remains private while traveling across 234+ destinations.
3. Purpose of Processing + Promo Waitlist Emails
Your email address is processed exclusively to: (a) deliver your eSIM QR code and LPA activation string, (b) send order receipts and data usage alerts, and (c) deliver requested promotional discount codes (including our 48-hour maintenance waitlist promo code SOLO20). We never sell, rent, or share customer emails with external advertisers or data brokers.
4. Cryptographic Security, TLS 1.3 + Turnstile Edge
All data transmitted between your browser and soloesim.com is encrypted via TLS 1.3 and protected by Cloudflare enterprise edge security and Cloudflare Turnstile bot protection. Account passwords are hashed using PBKDF2-SHA512 / scrypt with unique cryptographic salts, and eSIM ICCID records are isolated in encrypted cloud storage.
5. Cookies + First-Party Traffic Attribution
SoloEsim uses strictly necessary session cookies (HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax) to maintain your language/currency preferences and first-party referral attribution (identifying whether a visit originated from Google, Bing, ChatGPT, or direct navigation) without invasive cross-site tracking pixels.
6. Your Statutory Rights Under GDPR + CCPA
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to access, export, rectify, or permanently erase your personal data at any time.
